They often fill labour shortages in critical sectors, from healthcare to technology, thus boosting productivity and economic growth. Furthermore, immigrants tend to have higher entrepreneurship rates than native-born populations, leading to the creation of new businesses and jobs. This influx of skilled and motivated individuals can invigorate a nation's economy, injecting dynamism and innovation. Demographically, ageing populations in many developed countries can be counterbalanced by younger immigrants, helping to sustain social security systems and maintain workforce levels.
